Our time out in Colorado was wrapped up with a short backpacking trip up to the American Lakes in the Never Summer Range to the northwest of Rocky Mountain National Park. It was mostly a last chance to spend time with family and fly fish for some beautiful cutthroats, but of course we made pictures.
We put up a gallery, including a lot of sweet shots made of the peaks at night, our campfire and a couple of fly fishing images. View it here.
We also posted a fun time-lapse taken over 34 minutes of weather coming in over Thunder Mountain and LuLu Mountain. Watch it prove the Colorado adage “If you don’t like the weather, wait thirty minutes” here.
At right, a neighbor’s tent is illuminated from within against the backdrop of Nohku Crags.
