Golf Digest photo director Christian Iooss comes through again in assigning us the photography for Matt Ginella’s piece on golf and travel on Key Biscayne, Miami.

It was a treat to stay at and photograph the Ritz Carlton property there, the home of the one-of-a-kind RumBar. This place exists as if Rum-based drinks could get any better in the heat of Miami. It’s true.

We also photographed and then ate some serious sliders at the Ritz’s poolside restaurant Dune. Who thought adding Foie Gras to tiny burgers could be so right?

The people at Action Helicopter got us in the right spot to make aerials of the Crandon Park golf course stacked with the Miami skyline.
