Photographing the 2009 Mercedes-Benz National Final

The lucky participants of the 2009 Mercedes-Benz National Final were treated to a golf tournament on the Royal Ka’anapali Course, a musical performance by Eddie Kowalczyk, a luau, a comedy performance by Kathleen Madigan and an unforgettable year for humpback sightings in Maui. We were glad to be the photographers on board to document it all for the fifth year in a row.

Kayaking with and Photographing Manatees of Florida’s St. Johns River

Winter in Florida is the best time in Florida. We took advantage of a clear, crisp morning to head out on the St. Johns River with our good friend and colleague Darcy Sang, of Pearl Beach Paperie and her mom. We made some images and met some new friends while we were out- curious manatees who inspected our kayaks.

Heather Bingham and Chris Koepenick could have married in her home state of Florida, but when you live in a place like Charleston, South Carolina, one of the most charming and idyllic cities in America, why leave town? With ancient oaks and horse-drawn carriages lining historic Charleston’s cobblestone streets, it seemed a perfect romantic backdrop for the couple’s late October nuptials, which we were honored to photograph.

We had a blast photographing the elegant wedding of Brett Stewart and Meagen Leary in San Francisco.
This wedding had a relaxed, classy feeling that only Californians could pull off so well. The event was held at a restaurant on Ocean Beach called Park Chalet which backs into the fabulous Golden Gate Park.
