
Winter in Florida is the best time in Florida. We took advantage of a clear, crisp morning to head out on the St. Johns River with our good friend and colleague Darcy Sang, of Pearl Beach Paperie and her mom. We made some images and met some new friends while we were out- curious manatees who inspected our kayaks.

Heather Bingham and Chris Koepenick could have married in her home state of Florida, but when you live in a place like Charleston, South Carolina, one of the most charming and idyllic cities in America, why leave town? With ancient oaks and horse-drawn carriages lining historic Charleston’s cobblestone streets, it seemed a perfect romantic backdrop for the couple’s late October nuptials, which we were honored to photograph.

We had a blast photographing the elegant wedding of Brett Stewart and Meagen Leary in San Francisco.
This wedding had a relaxed, classy feeling that only Californians could pull off so well. The event was held at a restaurant on Ocean Beach called Park Chalet which backs into the fabulous Golden Gate Park.
Jen was honored to serve as the workshop photographer for the Eddie Adams Workshop XXII. Summarized well on the website: The Eddie Adams Workshop is an intense four-day gathering of the top photography professionals, along with 100 carefully selected students. The photography workshop is tuition-free, and the 100 students are chosen based on the merit of their portfolios.

We had a great time making portraits of Dr. Richie-Melvan for a cover of the alumni magazine of her alma mater. She is remembered at Wagner College as the school’s first black homecoming queen, elected in 1971. Now as a retired Army Col., who has served as a White House Fellow, she is working on a book about army nurses.
