We work on location for editorial and advertising clients. We specialize in sophisticated portrayals of personalities and destinations. We also accept private commissions for photographic documentation of family history.

While we love seeing how far from home our work takes us, we call Central Florida home for most of the year. We spend summers in Northeastern Colorado. When shooting in those areas, we offer our local knowledge of locations, crews and accommodation.  

Our background in analog photography and as photojournalists heavily influences our approach. Learning from and loving film shapes the way we use light. Our years in daily journalism taught us how to make the most of any situation to convey the essence of a story.

Working as a team makes us versatile and efficient. On a portrait or advertising shoot, it allows one of us to act as cinematographer and the other to direct. This constant collaboration makes us receptive to art direction and leads to technically perfect images of subtle moments. While working on a travel essay or feature story, we both explore our own vision, shooting simultaneously. This makes our time in a place seem longer and our angles on a feature more varied. At a wedding we work separately with the bride and groom while they prepare, coming together to shoot different perspectives throughout the ceremony and reception. This means both traditional and unexpected moments are captured.

When we’re not working, you can find us snorkeling from our tandem kayak or backpacking in the Rockies.

Jen Sens, at a glance: Born and raised in Colorado. Worked as “Muffins and Sweets Girl” at a bakery during college. Studied journalism and Spanish in Montana, Spain and Florida. Taught Eric most of what he knows about fly fishing.

Eric Larson, fun facts: Born in and spent early childhood in Northern Minnesota. Was mission commander at Space Camp in 5th grade. Made the money to buy his first camera mowing lawns. Knows his way around a BBQ.
