We specialize in location photography for portraiture, golf, travel and limited wedding commissions. Our imagery is recognized for its intimacy, honesty and sophistication.

We prefer to let the subjects we photograph inspire the techniques we use to document them. In other words, it isn’t about us. Our versatility helps us respond to the demands of photographing on location with innovative solutions.

By working as a team we multiply our experience and talent. Together we have more than 30 years behind the camera. We have photographed everything from the world’s smallest dog to the great wall of China.

Jen grew up in Northern Colorado and graduated with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Spanish from the University of Montana. Eric spent his early childhood in Minnesota and has lived in Florida since age seven. Their western and midwestern backgrounds gave them friendly, hard-working dispositions and a shared love of wooded, quiet places.

Jen did graduate study, worked as a teaching assistant and taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Florida where Eric studied as an undergraduate. They both worked as photojournalists at metro newspapers in Florida before pursuing freelance careers. The power of visual narratives continues to compel them.

At first Jen and Eric worked on each others’ respective shoots as an assistant, enjoying the collaboration. They wanted to solidify their positions as creative equals and work together as much as possible so they created Jensen Larson Photography around the same time that they were married.
