Jennifer Sens and Eric Larson specialize in location photography for portraiture, golf, travel and limited wedding commissions. Their imagery is recognized for its intimacy, honesty and sophistication. They are based seasonally in Florida and Colorado.

By working as a team they multiply their experience and talent. Jen and Eric have the knowledge gained from a combined 30 years working behind the camera and have photographed everything from the world’s smallest dog to the great wall of China.

Eric spent his early childhood in Northern Minnesota and has lived in Florida since age seven. He got his start in photography early, working for a teen section of the Orlando Sentinel at age 15.

Jen grew up in Northern Colorado and also discovered photography as a teenager using lots of expired and rare film her dad brought home from his job at the Kodak plant in Windsor. She graduated with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Spanish from the University of Montana.

Jen did graduate study, worked as a teaching assistant and taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Florida where Eric studied as an undergraduate. They both worked as photojournalists at metro newspapers in Florida before pursuing freelance careers in magazine and advertising work. The power of visual narratives continues to compel them.

At first Jen and Eric worked on each others’ respective shoots as an assistant, enjoying the collaboration. They wanted to solidify their positions as creative equals and work together as much as possible, so they created Jensen Larson Photography around the same time that they were married.
